01-JULY-2021 CANADA DAY CONCERT for 50

 

With our main-stage headline slot at the annual Parksville Beach Canada Day Celebration being cancelled along with the whole public event (fireworks, live music, etc.) BC Health permitted outside gatherings of up to 50 people only...

Goes without saying the band was greatly disappointed...

 

Down but not out, our Bob decided to make something happen. He basically organized this day, and with "Green Lights" given from his neighbours, and the City of Parksville to allow this performance to happen we selected an action packed set of music from the Tragically Hip on what became a very cool intimate gig on a warm summer's afternoon reconnecting with old friends not seen in person for many, many months, and new folks from the neighbourhood who didn't know we existed.

The band wish to thank each and every one for your interest and support that day, and with fingers crossed we hope we can be in front of you once again... sooner than later.
